Despite my dedicated, early start somebody has been here before me. Further along the shore other photographers shoot other subjects. I've passed them all in pursuit of something else. Thinking I've found it in the lightning properties of the fence I'm at first disappointed to see the footprints. I wonder if their creator is a photographer too, gone in search of some subject as yet unvisited. Their appeal grows as I frame through the viewfinder.
